Trump-Inspired Digital Assets: An Overview
The NFT collection endorsed by President-elect Donald Trump presented its first 160 items, the Trump Bitcoin Digital Trading Cards, on Bitcoin, using the Ordinals protocol. Customers who purchased the 100 NFT cards from the Mugshot Edition and submitted their Bitcoin wallets are eligible to claim through the NFT marketplace Magic Eden. As of the time of writing, users had minted 19 out of the 119 available Ordinals, with the claim period set to last until January 31.

Ordinals create unique assets on the Bitcoin blockchain by inscribing data onto individual satoshis, the smallest BTC unit. The Trump Bitcoin Digital Trading Cards used Alpha sats, the first satoshis of a Bitcoin block.
